The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the
development of Internet banking in Serbia

The COVID-19 pandemic appeared in March 2020 in Serbia and caused changes in all segments of our society. The effects of the pandemic
have significantly affected the economy, as well as people’s consumer habits and lifestyles. However, the new situation, measures
to protect against coronaviruses, restrictions on movement and quarantine, were a very suitable ground for the development and promotion
of electronic banking, which is widely used in such situations. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to determine the impact of the
COVID-19 pandemic on the development of electronic banking and increase the number of its users in Serbia, as well as to determine
the satisfaction of existing users with electronic banking services and to determine segments that cause dissatisfaction. the team also
determines potential directions for the development of electronic banking.
